Note: Both the amount of food items and cost are approximate as our volunteers did not reach all the way to the site of distribution in every single case; there was sometimes a chain of supply and the prices of food stuffs kept changing (sometimes, we had to send costlier rice varieties due to shortage of usual and cheaper varieties. Also, some of the purchases were done from Dhulikhel and Charikot, making it difficult to collect every single bill. Most of the times, deliveries for two or more places were sent in one vehicle, so the distribution among those sites was not overseen by us.

2) Relief materials: Tents

Note: There are authentic bills for 300 of these tents but the other 400 were purchased through an intermediary from Gorakhpur. Our tents were a small proportion of the truckload and they were delivered directly to Kathmandu and were sent mainly to Sindhupalchok from there. I have been unable to collect their bill (may be there was a single bill for the truckload in the name of one who had purchased the largest no. of tents).

Most of my own contribution was spent in taxi rides throughout the days of relief activities: due to a nasty knee sprain, I was unable to travel flexing my legs and could not use public vehicles. Also, they are not available in all routes I had to travel.
